The Business Working Group, co-chaired by GSA and the ACES vendors, brings together
agency and ACES vendor representatives in a forum designed to discuss both agency-specific
and cross-cutting agency PKI needs and how those needs can be addressed; develop
business case analyses; and explore different PKI solutions suited to each agency's
Legal and Policy Working Group
The Legal and Policy Working Group, co-chaired by FDIC and DOJ, provides legal
and policy support to the FPKISC and FPKI Policy Authority including the preparation
of draft policy documents.
The Technical Working Group, chaired by NIST, includes both agency and IT industry
representatives, focusing on the technical aspects of PKI planning and implementationk,
including directories support for PKIs, interoperability, and related topics.
The U.S./Canadian Working Group, co-chaired by GSA (for the US) and the Treasury
Board Secretariat (for Canada), facilitates direct and regular interaction between
the U.S. and Canadian governments on PKI matters, and helps ensure that each
government is kept aware of current activities so as to promote ultimate interoperability
between the U.S. and Canadian government PKIs.
